Plus, it's packed with natural ingredients that give us that extra zing to start the day off right.

Ingredients:

Ingredients for the Energizing Morning Green Juice

  • ½ tsp organic minced ginger (we prefer The Ginger People brand)

  • 1 small to medium apple

  • 1 small to medium orange

  • 1.5 cups water

  • 2 medium stalks of celery

  • 1 heaping cup of frozen spinach

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Start by gathering all your ingredients. If you're using fresh produce, give everything a good wash. Peel the orange and chop the apple into smaller pieces if needed.

  2. Blend: Place all the ingredients—ginger, apple, orange, water, celery, and spinach—into your blender. We use a Vitamix, which blends everything smoothly and quickly.

  3. Blend to Perfection: Set your blender to the smoothie setting (or blend until smooth if your blender doesn't have a preset option). The mixture should be well-combined and smooth.

  4. Pour and Enjoy: Once everything is blended, simply pour your juice into a glass and enjoy! This recipe serves two.

Optional Add-In:

For those looking to use this juice as part of a workout recovery mix, my wife sometimes adds 5 grams (or one scoop) of creatine powder from Thorne (just be sure to talk with your doctor beforehand). It's a great way to boost your recovery after a tough workout while enjoying the refreshing benefits of this green juice.
